NAAPAC

NAAPAC has been a defender of the industry since its inception in 1977 and has worked to elect pro-industry candidates to Congress.

About Us

National Apartment Association PAC

Hello! We extend our sincerest gratitude to the generous members of the rental housing community who helped NAAPAC raise an impressive $2.27 million in 2023-2024. Over the course of this two-year period, NAAPAC disbursed $2.2 million to 312 legislative allies in Congress and strategically invested another $300,000 in independent expenditures to support three champions in extremely competitive reelection fights. Your contributions played a critical role in ensuring that 95% of NAAPAC-backed candidates achieved victory in November's general election.

In the face of slim majorities in the 119th Congress, NAA remains steadfast in pushing for effective and sustainable bipartisan solutions that benefit both residents and community owners, while tackling the ongoing housing affordability crisis in our nation. The rental housing industry must have a seat at the table for important upcoming legislative deliberations on matters such as tax reform. NAAPAC is just the vehicle to ensure that our collective voice is heard. Your support and investment in NAAPAC today will make a significant impact.

Join NAAPAC today and help us ensure that Washington prioritizes the needs of the rental housing industry.

Heather Collin 2023

Hello! thank you to all the generous members of the rental housing community who helped NAAPAC raise over $1 million for the first time in 2022!

This support helped ensure that 97% of NAAPAC-supported candidates won their general election in November. And NAA was able to ensure that Congress included nearly $100 million in grant funding for 2023 to help cities and states lower barriers to developing new apartment housing.

And while razor thin majorities in Congress may signal gridlock for this year, NAA will continue to push forward with responsible and sustainable solutions that support both renters and housing providers and that work to address our nation’s housing affordability crisis for years to come:

  • When NAA & NAAPAC push Congress to lower barriers to development, the supply of apartment housing grows and the push for rent control on the local level will be blunted;
  • When NAA & NAAPAC help Congress to work across party lines to make sensible reforms to the Section 8 program, more owners will find it easier to participate, lessening the need for source of income legislation; and
  • When NAA & NAAPAC stand up for owners and operators and say Congress must repeal the CARES Act’s 30-Day Notice to Vacate provision, we make it clear that the rent must be paid.

However, we cannot do this alone. NAA and NAAPAC are strongest when we have the full depth and breadth of support of the rental housing industry. Our industry needs your help and your investment.
